In the past session tracking for medium to large shows has often required the use of costly 2D barcodes and an onsite technician. Advances in technology have made session tracking easier to set up and manage, even by non-IT staff, and allows show mangers to handle their own session tracking.
Tradeshow solution provider Bartizan Connects announced today the availability of a self-managed session tracking solution for show organizers. Because most attendance tracking solutions are a cost burden to show management, Bartizan developed a solution that significantly lowers the cost. The system is so easy to use that no onsite tech is required, saving money for the event managers. Even the smallest shows may now learn who is attending sessions in real time with complete reporting and session in/out time stamps.
Bartizan’s systems provide event planners with simple methods to track session attendance and seminar participation or control access to paid event functions.

During the event, a complete report is available to show organizers on a secure server and is only available via a unique log in and password. On the secure server website, the data is sortable by session. The show organizer can view each session and which attendees attended each session. With this information, the show organizer can award applicable CEU credits to the appropriate attendees.
With Bartizan’s event access control system, show managers can control access to any session area, including sessions, dining rooms, and special events. This part of the system verifies eligibility for sessions requiring sign-up, in addition to tracking access.
